The 2019 Food Truck Series is a relaxed and unique beer dinner experience featuring outstanding street fares paired with our dangerously good ales. We’re kicking it off with JB’s Cuisine Roulante\, who was a recent addition to our food truck selection in the fall of 2018. JB’s serves a delicious\, fresh combination of French\, Caribbean\, and Mediterranean cuisine. \nWe will be dining at the brewery on February 16th starting at 6 pm. Guests will receive a Castle Danger pint glass as a thank you and the night will conclude with a private brewery tour. \nDetailed Menu:\n\nPork Carnitas & Baguette – with North Shore Lager\n\nPork slowly cooked with Caribbean and Mediterranean spices served with fresh onion\, tomato\, bell better\, and cilantro.\n\n\nMediterranean Salad – with Choice Pils\n\nA quick\, fresh\, and delicious salad made with tomatoes\, olives\, English cucumber\, and avocado. Dressed in a parsley\, lemon\, and olive oil vinaigrette.\n\n\nMediterranean Citrus & Vegetable Soup – with Brut IPA\n\nAn olive oil and citrus based soup with a blend of fresh bell peppers\, tomatoes\, and parsley. DESCRIPTION:Introducing the second Taproom Series beer of 2019\, Brut IPA!\nBrut IPA is a very special brew. Borrowing its name from the wine world – brut means very dry – this beer boasts a very dry and crisp finish. We use Pilsen Malt\, Sauvignon Blanc grapes\, and New Zealand hops to provide a unique fruity aroma and gentle bitterness while keeping the beer light in body and color. Hints of green grape and melon add depth to the flavors you get in a traditional IPA\, making this unique brew one to try.\nWe will be tapping this beer AT 6 pm on the 8th and not a minute before. What you can look forward to: an introduction to Brut IPA by one of our brewers at 6 pm\, live music by John Cron starting at 7 pm\, hourly prize drawings\, multiple infusions of Brut IPA\, and a local restaurant pop-up shop. *The first 24 people to order a Brut IPA will get a free Team Danger pint glass.* We’re also offering $1 off pints and discounted growlers of Brut IPA during the party. The first drawing will be at 7 pm and will go every hour until 9 pm – must purchase a pint of Brut IPA to enter the drawing\, and must be present to win. Mark your calendars!!

The duo\, which has been performing together in various manifestations since 1997\, plays roots and Americana music featuring Boyd on guitar and vocals and Adam on the fiddle and vocals. Pushing Chain plays original songs\, covers of classic artists like Bob Dylan\, Tom Waits\, and Nina Simone\, and some fresh new takes on old folk songs. The duo also features tight harmonies and a gonzo approach which keeps performances fresh and exciting\, even if you’ve seen them before.

DESCRIPTION:Calling all volunteers and dog lovers! Team Danger will be volunteering for the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon in Two Harbors on January 27th. If interested\, please sign up here: https://goo.gl/forms/EPhbE49AV7oiPEHu1\nEvent Timing:\nSunday\, January 27th 3:00 pm -10:00 pm (there will be two shifts for those that cannot stay the entire time.) These times are only projections based on past performance and may vary significantly later in the race due to weather\, trail conditions\, and team strategy. We will keep you updated via email when we get more information. \nEvent Address:\nHighway 2 Checkpoint: Highway 2/Alger Grade road crossing\, more details to come!\n*We will be meeting here\, not the brewery. \nAbout:\nYou will be assuring the safety of all Beargrease teams as they cross the road – this may include putting snow on the road to allow the sleds glide smoothly. Once the teams start coming\, volunteers line either side of the trail – this helps keep the dogs on the trail and prevents them from going down the road instead. Some traffic control is required – you may need to stop sleds to allow cars to cross and wait for an opening between cars to allow teams to pass (typically cars want to stop and watch). We will have a bonfire going and some hot beverages to drink! \nWhat to Bring:\n• Shovels\n• Tarps and/or sled (like an ice fishing or snowmobile sled) to haul the snow\n• Flashlights or headlamps\n• Food/beverages\n• Reflective items\, some vests will be provided\n• Warm clothing\n• Be ready to cheer on some sled dogs and mushers!!!
