DESCRIPTION:Pints for a Cause is a program launched by Castle Danger Brewery to give back to local nonprofits and charity organizations. We donate $1 of each pint sold in our taproom every Wednesday to that month’s organization. The 2019 beneficiaries are listed below. SUMMARY:GLENSHEEN BEER GARDEN
DESCRIPTION:Beer Garden at Glensheen is back for its third year! Join us every Wednesday night in June! \nAs we continue Chester and Clara’s love of highlighting the talent in our own state\, we are showcasing the awesome brewing companies we have here in the Twin Ports. \nThis event is also a throwback to the public beer garden that was once on the estate when the Tischer Farm owned the land prior to the Congdons. \nA different local brewery will be featured each week of Beer Garden. Guests will have the opportunity to sip on their beer and chat with the brewers in the Amusement Room. Brewers will give a short talk about their brewery and beer a half hour into the event at 7:30 pm. \nWhile the event will take place in the Winter Garden\, the grounds will be open and exploration is encouraged! \nThe evening will be complete with yard games like bags and ladder golf on the estate. Get ready to enjoy Glensheen’s grounds with a local craft beer in hand. \nThen finish the night with a bonfire on the shore of Lake Superior. \nEvent details:\nLocation: Winter Garden\, Amusement Room & Grounds\nPrice: Free and open to the public\nWhen: Every Wednesday night in June from 7:00 – 9:00 pm\n7:30 pm Brew talk from the featured brewery
